#Robinson.Juneteenth Celebration

Poverty Point State Park
Conference Room
Delhi, Louisiana
June 19, 2023
10:00 a.m.

Plan to stay all day. Bring a cooler if you have one. I am sure we will need it. Come to have a great time with family. We will have games, like cups, dominoes, spade, bingo, etc.  Take the kids to the beach. Have a fishing license?  Then bring your pole and go fishing.  Have you played Lift, Right and Center? Bring five or ten dollars in $1 bills.  If 10 people play, the winner takes all – $50 or $100.  Plan to stay all day. We will start with lunch and end with dinner in the afternoon.

I am excited to share my Ancestry DNA as well as additional data that I found during my research on the Robinson family and a little of the Turpins.  Share your stories or memories. Guess what country our ancestors came from?

Our t-shirts will be worn for Juneteenth. They are lime green. Yep, lime green. Permission from Mori to order :D.  “Living Our” and “The Robinsons” are in RED!

Happy Juneteenth!!

Happy Mother’s Day

To all the mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, and mother figures, who have sacrificed so much to provide for your families. We honor the love, strength, resilience that mothers embody every day.  We hope this Mother’s Day brings you joy laughter, and the warm embrace of your love ones.

Super Soul Sunday

Let’s Worship Together

A Family that Prays to Together Stays to Together! Let’s worship together for Sunday Services. If you serve in any capacity at your church, such as a  minister, sing in the choir, on the usher board, please let us know! This include children as well. Your help is appreciated.

Sunday Dinner

How about some good and tasty country cooking by our very own family members?  We will be frying and/or baking chicken, dressing, collard greens, macaroni and cheese, candy yams, green beans, potato salad, chocolate cake, banana pudding, peach cobbler, sweet tea, and lemonade! Some items maybe removed and others added. Just sit back, reminese and enjoy each other!!!

Calling all ladies and gentlemen 50 and above, what’s your speciality? We need you in the kitchen.
